2021 ISS Peer Group Submission Alert

ISS announced they will be accepting peer group submissions from corporate issuers through their online portal. This peer group submission window will be open to issuers from November 16th – December 4th, and will be applicate for annual meetings between February 1st, 2021, and September 15th, 2021.

We urge large TSX-listed issuers and any company expecting to propose a say-on-pay resolution at their next AGM to take advantage of this opportunity. An issuer’s peer group submission will influence ISS’ peer group construction and the issuer’s selected peers are more likely to be selected by ISS for use in ISS’ pay-for-performance models.
